The Cami Family Launches Their New Restaurant Grumpy Dicks Seafood and Pasta.
PLANTATION, FL On January 7, 2004 The Cami family, who were the original owners and operators of the Cami Pasta and
Seafood restaurants are now opening Grump Dicks Seafood Grill and Bar.
This family dining restaurant will open its new
location in the Fountains Shopping Center in Plantation. The 200 seat, 6,700 square-foot restaurant represents a new look
for typical family style dining with colorful and bright designs, and an enhanced menu that includes fresh fish, pasta ice
cold beer, vino and a sushi bar.
Located at 801 South University Dr. in Plantation (in The Fountains Shopping Center), the new restaurant will open for
lunch and dinner from 11:30 a.m. The restaurant will create 150 new jobs.
In addition to traditional sea food and pasta favorites from the Cami Seafood Restaurants, guests to the new Plantation
restaurant will experience a menu that includes absolutely one of freshest char grilled fish selections and generous
portions reinforcing the Cami family reputation for offering the freshest, best-tasting seafood and pasta at affordable
prices.
"We have something for everyone, great seafood, sushi, pasta, pizza, steaks and vino," says Richard Cami, Manager and
Proprietor.
Grumpy Dicks will have world renowned chef Joseph Ezbicki serving as a consultant and supervising the Grumpy Dicks kitchen.
Exibicki has worked as executive chef in some of the finest restaurants and most prestigious hotels in the country
including: the Meyer Shine Hotels, Ritz Carlton in Atlantic City, N.J. and the Boca Hotel and the Boca Resort and Country
Club.

Seafood and Sushi the way you always wished it would taste!! We make everything from scratch on site," says Cami. The decor
and menu are simple and we are child friendly.
Grumpy Dicks also has a full bar which will be offering a variety of food and drink specials and after hour mixers. Our
Margaritas are made from freshly squeezed limes…right before your eyes. The wine list has some fantastic bargains and our
beer is always ice cold.
Grumpy Dicks also has outdoor seating and a full Sushi Bar serving fresh fish every day. There will also be a Grumpy Hour,
Camis version of Happy Hour.
